Your amazing journey takes off at the V&A Waterfront where you'll catch spectacular views of the Cape Town cityscape in a helicopter. As your journey continues you'll begin to see the Atlantic ocean unfold beneath you with breathtaking blues and greens and occasional whales and Dolphins. You'll be amazed by the stretch of the ocean and peak at the horizon with awe.
In the distance, you'll spot a tiny green patch of land before it begins to grow as you approach it. This spectacular Island, known as Robben Island, houses a large variety of fauna and flora and is unique because it's known for its notorious history. This Island was a spot where many prominent and influential people such as Nelson Mandela and many other freedom fighters were imprisoned during the Apartheid era. The Island is approximately 3.3 Kilometres long and 1.9 Kilometres wide, making it an impressive sight to explore. With an aerial view, you'll see the prison, the diverse biodiversity, and the rough oceans that surround it.
On your return flight, You'll fly across the Blouberg coastline, a splendid coastline perfect for swimming and kite surfing due to its favorable conditions. All the while staring at the iconic Table mountain with its magnificent flat top accompanying a wonderful backdrop.
As you descend you will take a closer look at Robben Island where you'll onboard a ferry that will take you on a 45-minute journey to the Island. Upon arrival, you'll be led around this remarkable Island by a guide and get to witness all the splendor and history up close.
