Robben Island is the unique symbol of the human spirit triumphing over adversity, suffering, and injustice, with a rich 500-year-old multi-layered history. Come explore this magnificent landmark.

You'll be fetched at your accommodation and dropped off at the V&A Waterfront. Here, you'll board a boat that will take you to the Island where you'll get to hear all about its history, including a visit to the cell where Nelson Mandela spent 27 years in. The tour takes roughly 3.5 hours including the boat trip to and from the Island.
